Hello my dears. My name is Louisa. I’m a resident of Autauga, Alabama. I grew up in Prattville. If you have heard of Prattville, then God bless you. I wish more people did today. I hope that I can make this blog care more about Prattville and its rich history now that it is not the most populated city in the world by this point. Alabama owes a lot of its industrialization to Prattville and Daniel Pratt. However, for me, growing up in Prattville was never truly an exercise in history. It was all about enjoying the days of neighborliness and working together as a community. It was about life in a world where things are simple and everyone knows everyone. The world of the Internet and the world of today is very different, which is why creating a blog about these things might seem strange. I just hope that talking about my heritage and cultural memories and sharing them with the world is a way to help keep them going.
