Hunts Alley
Row of five identical shotgun-style dwellings built c. 1900 as rental property. Each structure is one story of frame (shiplap) construction on a brick pier foundation. They are rectangular (two-bay front) with a gable roof and central chimney serving two end-to-end rooms. Little-altered, the houses are good examples of housing available to Prattville blacks at turn of twentieth century. These buildings are listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Contributing Properties to the Daniel Pratt Historic District.
