Fred Posey House
The Fred Posey Home is listed on the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage An early 20th Century vernacular style found throughout Autauga County is the pyramidal hipped roof house. The Fred Posey House on County Road 57 is a typical example of this style. Nearly square in form, it contains a high-pitched equilaterally hipped roof. The Posey, built circa 1925 is a one story dwelling with roof of corrugated metal. It has weather-board siding, an interior chimney, and a wrap around porch. The place has a nearby barn and shed.
